If you’re wondering what the media is up to this week, here is the answer: Jamie Dimon, CEO of Wall Street investment bank J.P Morgan Chase spoke about Bitcoin once again in a CNBC interview. You’re really eager to hear what he said about Bitcoin? Just let me give you a hint, he was accompanied by no other than Warren Buffet.
They were both asked about their views on cryptocurrency. What do you think happened? Who hates Bitcoin more?
Last year, Dimon called Bitcoin a “fraud” and later reported that he regretted those comments, right after the digital currency rose to an ATH of $20,000. But today, his remarks were a little more reserved:
“I– I don’t wanna be the Bitcoin spokesman. You know, just beware.”
You know guys, just beware, that’s all. What is that? Just another way to suppress the price? We all know how Dimon and Buffet feel about Bitcoin, why do they have to bring it up every time the market has a slight growth?
At least we know that Buffet didn’t change his stance on cryptocurrencies where he stated that “Bitcoin itself is creating nothing,” “When you’re buying nonproductive assets, all you’re counting on is the next person is going to pay you more because they’re even more excited about another next person coming along.”
If we are still playing the same game, you know where this is headed – The price of Bitcoin should go down for the weekend. But if we look in the past, right after Dimon called the asset a fraud, it went on a bull run. So who knows, only time will tell.
